From Feb. 27th to March 2nd, Peterborough-based independent bookstore, Take Cover Books, is hosting the Highly Likely festival – a series of music and literature performances.
Take Cover owners, Andrew and Sean Fitzpatrick, have partnered with Michael Duguay’s Miracle Territory project to organize the lineup of 18 different performers. Each performance will take place in the bookstore at 58 Hunter Street E.
“I feel like, personally, it feels more special to see performances in an unconventional space,” says Sean.
Take Cover has hosted music events before, but Sean feels this is the most “ambitious” since opening in summer 2023.
“It was really important to us, when we opened the bookstore, that this could be a multi-use space, and a space where artists of all kinds could come and show their talent – specifically with music.”
Information and tickets are available through their website.
