Trent Radio met with Riverview Park and Zoo’s Matt Dixon, Operational Support Manager for Animal Care, to discuss their new Sulawesi Forest Turtle hatchling. The turtle, named Indy, hatched February 9th. The Sulawesi Forest Turtle is critically endangered and the Riverview Park and Zoo is the only zoo in Canada working to maintain this species.
