Lakelands Public Health has issued a drug poisoning alert for Peterborough and County. The suspected substance is unknown but highly toxic. Lakelands Public Health says it poses a high risk of overdose and death.
To mitigate risk, drug users are encouraged to not inject unsupervised.
This drug poisoning alert from Lakelands Public Health will remain in effect until August 25th, 2026.
