The Peterborough Skateboard Coalition invited skaters, of all levels of experience, to Bonnerworth Park on Saturday, May 16th, to celebrate the opening of the newly expanded skateboard facilities.
Programming included “Learn to Skate” classes, as well as demonstrations from an experienced skate team, which aimed to introduce people to the sport and demonstrate the potential of the new facility.
CFFF spoke to Skateboard Coalition co-chair Geoff Rix about the group’s hopes for the new facility and the work it took for them to get it.
