Peterborough Police Service announce new programs for crowd-sourcing investigation, pre-charge consultation

At the Peterborough Police Service (PPS) Board meeting on May 19th, Police Chief Stu Bett’s contract was officially extended until December 31st, 2032, which had been announced in a press release the week before.

Betts and Staff Inspector Peter Sejrup also outlined new initiatives by the police to “crowd-source” information on suspected criminals in ongoing investigations, and to create efficiencies in case flow.
