Trent University student Jacob Méthot is the youngest of the five candidates currently registered to run for mayor of Peterborough.

While other nominees have already rolled out big launch parties and lawn signs, Méthot is employing an unconventional strategy: he intends to spend no money in service of his mayoral campaign.

Méthot’s spending strategy is one part of a philosophy of transparency and vision he espouses as would-be mayor of Peterborough.
