Peterborough-based writer Gregory Conway from Curve Lake, ON, was announced as the 2026 CJF-CBC Indigenous Journalism Fellowship on May 7th.

Conway is the founder and co-editor of lønningspils, a website dedicated to reviews and writing about Nordic literature in translation for an English audience.

This week Evan Robins spoke to Conway about his interest in Nordic literature, his background in writing, and his hopes for his fellowship residency.
