This summer, The Link rural transit service is offering free shuttle rides to three major Selwyn Township events: the Lakefield Literary Festival, the Lakefield Jazz, Art & Craft Festival, and the Curve Lake Pow Wow.

Launched with provincial support, The Link connects rural communities across Peterborough County, helping those without vehicles access cultural events and essential services. John Boyko, chair of the Literary Festival, says the shuttle increases accessibility and community participation.

Whether attending readings by celebrated authors, enjoying live music, or witnessing Pow Wow ceremonies, riders can travel easily and eco-friendly. The Link also runs year-round, supporting daily travel needs in the region.
