The mayor of Peterborough had strong words for vandals who defaced the Citizen’s War Memorial in Peterborough’s Confederation Park.
Graffiti was discovered on the base of the cenotaph across from Peterborough’s city hall on Wednesday, October 28th.
The vandalism, which appears to be done with black permanent marker, includes multiple tags, drawings of penises, and a “list of rats/goofs” with several sets of initials inscribed.
CFFF Broadcast journalist Evan Robins spoke to mayor Jeff Leal over the phone on October 28th about his response to the incident, and how he would like to see it handled.
