Kawartha Land Trust (KLT) is currently fundraising towards the purchasing price of a potential land acquisition. The current land owners of the listed property, which is located adjacent to Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park in the City of Kawartha Lakes, have accepted KLT’s purchasing offer of $1.6 million as long as it is purchased by July 16; if the funds are not raised by that time, the property owners will begin looking at other offers.
As of July 7, KLT had raised over $500,000 towards their goal to purchase the 435-acre property.
