Peterborough—Kawartha MPP Dave Smith’s “Action Centre” constituency office will be moving, a decision the Progressive Conservative MPP attributes to eleven weeks of constant protest outside his current Chemong Road office.
Smith said that the repeated demonstrations had a negative effect on neighbouring businesses in the Chemong Rd. plaza, and that when the constituency office’s lease came up for renewal, his landlord made that clear.
As a result, Smith team’s elected to move to a new location on Reid Street.
