On June 19, Trent University ‘broke ground’ and began development of a new Otonabee College residence building, and Trent’s newest college – Gidigaa Migizi.

Together, this development will be the largest addition to Symons Campus in Trent’s history: the 700,000 square-foot project will bring 1300 additional beds to the campus, which will increase on-campus housing capacity by 69%.

Gidigaa Migizi College is named for the late Elder, alumnus, and professor, Doug Williams.
