The Kawartha Art Gallery has launched Seniors for Seniors, an innovative outreach program bringing senior artists into Victoria Manor long-term care home to lead art workshops. Designed by seniors for seniors, the program fosters social connection, reduces isolation, and promotes well-being through creative expression.

Participants enjoy a variety of art activities led by experienced artists like Elayne Windsor and RoseMarie Condon. The program has been warmly received by residents, staff, and families, offering both physical and psychological benefits.

Supported by local government funding, Seniors for Seniors aims to expand across the Kawartha Lakes region, helping build a healthier, more connected community through the arts.
