Peterborough’s Diverse Nature Collective aims to end inequity in outdoor recreation with summer learn-to-camp programming

Patricia Wilson is trying to break down barriers which dictate who can access Peterborough and the Kawarthas’ outdoors.

The Peterborough local is the founder of the Diverse Nature Collective, an organization which hosts nature hikes and outdoor-skills workshops for Black and racialized nature lovers.

This year the group is expanding their programming with a a Black-centred Learn-to-camp weekend taking place at the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area from July 10th-12th.
